HIM's drummer leaves band!

As a fan of Finnish goth-rockers 'HIM' this news is absolutely devastating. Mika Kristian Karppinen better known as "Gas Lipstick" drummer of the band 'HIM' has officially left the band after 16 years. Gas stated that there is no bad blood regarding former band mates and he wishes them well. His reasons for leaving are that during the last tour he "just wasn't into it" for the first time. And he wants pursue songwriting more and creating different music.

'Gas' had a major arm injury during the making of their last album 'Tears on Tape' and recovered just in time to hit the studio. The band has stated that they are not looking to add a new drummer but possibly utilizing a digital drum kit to fill in from here on out.
